Pink and Green Reception-Style Wedding at HPPC and Dallas Country Club

Weddings

When beginning wedding planning, every couple has a vision for how they want their wedding to look and/or feel. For some, it’s a fairly drawn-out picture including a detailed color palette and rentals. For others, it’s simple things like a band instead of a DJ or ice cream instead of cake. For Morgan and Jack, it was both.

Their wedding was an amalgamation of both their wishes — for Morgan, an elegant celebration. For Jack, a party instead of a formal, stuffy reception.

The couple opted for a reception-style wedding with stations instead of a sit-down dinner. But all of the details (which there were lots of!) read elevated and tasteful.

Every decision had meaning. Morgan chose pink as the primary color because of her love of ballet growing up. Her Ines di Santo gown was hand-painted with pink flowers, while bridesmaids wore soft pink dresses with a bow accent. The pink “H” pillows and hand-painted green and pink candles made everything feel so thorough and personal.

Morgan sums up the day perfectly: “We all left wanting more, and I feel like that’s how it should be.”
