It’s no secret that the greenhouse at the Sixty Vines Uptown is a coveted space for rehearsal dinners and welcome parties. But for Alex and Felix, it served as more than just a space, but an extension of their interests.
The couple, who reside in Seattle, are very environmentally conscious. When planning this event (and the entire wedding weekend), sustainability was a big consideration. Some of those details included plants and herbs for the welcome party (which guests could take home to plant), non-bleached gift bags, and aluminum instead of plastic cups for dancing – just to name a few.
The greenhouse is such a gorgeous space to begin with, it doesn’t need much decor. So, we opted for a few on-theme accents and brought in some soft seating to create a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
