Forest-Inspired Wedding at Hickory Street Annex

Weddings

From our very first phone call, it was clear this wedding was going to be something special. Before timelines, color palettes, or guest counts were ever discussed, Emily and Christine asked one crucially important question: “Can we have llamas at our wedding?”

This single question perfectly reflects who they are — joyful, imaginative, and unapologetically themselves.

Emily and Christine dreamed of a wedding inspired by the magic of Peter Pan (and the Evermore part of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour). It wasn’t about following trends or checking boxes, but instead, creating a space where friends and family could step into their world and feel the magic right alongside them.

The wedding design leaned into lush greenery and mix-and-match decor. Mossy tones, organic florals, assorted bits and bobs, soft lighting, and natural elements transformed the Hickory Street Annex warehouse into Neverland (or Foreverland) — one where imagination ran wild and being an adult was optional.

At its heart, Emily and Christine’s wedding was a reflection of love without apology. A celebration of two people who share values, creativity, and a belief that love should be front and center.

And yes… there were llamas.
